Saints of North America

On the second Sunday after Pentecost, we remember all the saints that have shone forth in North America. Because of the vast diversity of peoples who have settled in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, we are blessed with many saints who were born, labored, died, or were martyred here. Hailing from Russia, Syria, Serbia, and other shores, our saints are a true reflection of this continent, and their many unique stories are a wonderful resource for understanding Orthodoxy.
